Odisha: State Cabinet Approves 8 Major Proposals

Bhubaneswar: The State Cabinet meeting held under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in Cabinet Room today took eight important decisions relating to the departments of General Administration & Public Grievance, Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare, Home, and Steel & Mines.

Informing people about the Cabinet decisions, Chief Secretary Suresh Chandra Mahapatra said that the major decisions included approval of food and paddy procurement policy for Kahrif Marketing Season ( KMS) 2022-23.

Cabinet also resolved for merger of Odisha Mineral Exploration Corporation Limited (OMECL) and Odisha Mining Corporation. The restructuring of Odisha Secretariat Service Cadre, Odisha Secretariat Executive Asst/PA/PS cadre, amendment of Odisha civil services Rules along with combined graduate level recruitment examination for State cadre Group-B and Group-C service Rules resolved in the cabinet today were like Puja Bheti to the government employees including the aspiring youths for Government service.
