Odisha to Experience Rainfall for Next Three Days

Bhubaneswar: In a relief to the farmers, the India Metrological Department (IMD) today predicted rainfall in several parts of Odisha for the next three days.

A cyclonic circulation formed over Bay of Bengal is likely to intensify into a low-pressure triggering heavy to very heavy rainfall in Odisha until July 28, the IMD forecasts.

In a special bulletin, the weather department stated that rainfall is predicted in several parts of Odisha for three more days under the impact of a monsoon trough line.

Odisha has witnessed 32 per cent deficit rainfall from June 1 to July 24.
Puri has recorded maximum rainfall of 87mm while Bhubaneswar recorded 51mm of rain in the last 24 hours. Gopalpur and Chandbali received 26 and 31mm rain respectively, the IMD stated.
