Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s Para Fencers have scripted history at the Commonwealth Fencing Championship – 2022 at London.
Two para athletes Rakhal Sethy and Ramesh Rao were part of the men’s Epee Team that clinched silver medal at the Championship.
They are the first ever Odia Para Fencers to win Silver Medal.
“History has been created by Odisha’s Para Fencers at the Commonwealth Fencing Championship – 2022 at London. Rakhal Sethy and Ramesh Rao were part of the men’s Epee Team Event. They are the first ever Odia Para Fencers to win Silver Medal. Congratulations to both of you”, Para Sports Association Of Odisha said.
