Odisha’s SVA Gets ISO Certification for Quality Training on Anti-corruption Laws

Bhubaneswar: In a major recognition, Odisha’s State Vigilance Academy (SVA), BBSR, a first of its kind Anti-Corruption Training Academy in any State, has been awarded with further ISO Certification 9001:2015 for the quality of training on anti-corruption laws and infrastructure.

The certification has been accorded for a period of three years from 2022 to 2025.

In 2022, the SVA has conducted training of 388 Officers of Central and State Government including IAS, IFoS, OAS, OPS, OFS, OT & AS, OFoS, ORS, Odisha State Prosecution Service, Vigilance & Vigilance officers on Anti-Corruption Laws and Preventive Vigilance.

“Going forward, we aim to make SVA a repository of knowledge and niche research on anti-corruption, transparency and good governance, and a platform to disseminate evidence based knowledge and solutions to institutions to strengthen preventive vigilance structures and prevent leakages”, the Odisha Vigilance said.
