Offline Classes for 8th And Above Start In Odisha Amid Covid Guidelines

Bhubaneswar: Schools in Odisha have been opened for physical classes for students of 8th and above from today. Authorities have taken steps to sanitise the school premises before the physical classes started. The state government had announced for opening of schools from today with strict adherence to Covid-19 guidelines. Students in schools were seen wearing masks and holding sanitisers in their hands and adhering to social distancing protocols. Along with the schools, all higher education classes including technical and professional classes have also started physically from today. The government had instructed for opening of all the hostels from the 6th of February. Coaching institutes have also started from today.

The School and Mass Education Department had issued orders to schools to facilitate both online and offline modes of education along with physical classes. The physical classes for 1st to 7th will also be opened from the 14th of this month but the students have been given the option to attend classes physically or through online mode.
