Bhubaneswar: Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC), the country’s largest State PSU in mining sector, has been honored with three Apex India Excellence Awards for its outstanding performance in different segments.
The OMC has been conferred with the Apex India Business Excellence Award – 2021 for best business management practices focusing on high productivity to accelerate organisational performance.
The PSU has received the “Apex India CSR Excellence Award – 2020” in recognition of its sustained efforts and wider spectrum of CSR initiatives. The OMC’s flagship CSR model addresses community needs in mining regions to create a long-term positive social impact, the company said.
It has also bagged the prestigious “Apex India HR Excellence Award – 2021” in recognition of its best Human Resource (HR) practices.
In a Twitter post, OMC said that its HR policy nurtures talent and works towards maintaining a high-performance culture.
