Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has arranged paid isolation facilities for asymptotic COVID-19 positive patients in the city.
The COVID-19 positive patients, who are clinically assigned as asymptomatic can only avail the paid Isolation facilities at the properties under OYO Hotels & Rooms, the BMC said.
The minimum number of days up to which an Asymptomatic Positive patient (Guest) can avail this pay and use isolation facility is 10 days from the date of sample given unless and otherwise directed by the concerned Medical Officer to stay for more number of days subject to symptoms/Health condition.
The patient has to undergo seven days home quarantine period after completion of mandatory isolation period. The patients if desired can also avail this facility for post isolation quarantine period.
The guest shall have to make advance payment to the Hotel service provider amounting to 50% of the room rent per day for the required number of isolation days.
The guest intending to avail any of the properties on pay and use basis above shall approach the contact persons as mentioned in the table above:
The above accommodation shall include Breakfast. Lunch & Dinner along with provision of 2 litres water per day. The food menu shall be as per terms of Agreement executed by OYO Hotels & Rooms with BMC. Anything ordered by the Guest which is not under the scope of the hotel service as per Agreement executed with BMC will have to be borne by the guest extra as per prevailing rate chart of the hotel.
The Guest shall comply with the COVID-19 protocols and co-operate with the service provider at Paid Isolation Facility as well as BMC during the entire period of stay.
The Guest shall maintain reasonable degree of care and caution in utilizing the assets available at the Paid isolation Facility in order to reduce risk of damages to any of the assets/utilities available. In caseany such damages caused by the Guest then the same shall be borne by the Guest to the Hotel service provider.
The Guest shall not come out of the room or use common areas except under direction of medical officer or BMC.
The Guest shall self-monitor his/her health condition daily regarding temperature by using thermometer and oxygen saturation level using pulse oxy-meter. In case of any health issue. the Guest shall immediately intimate the front desk of the hotel for intervention.
The concerned Medical Officer shall be responsible for providing telephonic consultation services to the Guests as and when required. In case any serious health issue the concerned Medical Officer shall also visit the place for assessing the health condition and recommending for hospitalizations.
