Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s appeal to observe one minute silence and pray for the Covid-19 warriors received massive response from all walks of life. Lakhs of people joined the silent prayer at exactly 6 pm for one minute and paid their mark of respect to the innumerable frontline Covid warriors who are fighting the war to save the lives of all.
While Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal observed the silent prayer at the Raj Bhawan, all ministers participated from their places.
Starting from Government offices in the capital city to Panchayat offices in each and every district, people stood with solidarity to the appeal by the Chief Minister. Traffic signals, play grounds, market areas, quarantine centers and hospitals stood still while people offered prayers and took oath with Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
