Bhubaneswar: The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education has written a letter to all the aided and non-aided colleges of the state for sanitization and cleaning of campuses as expeditiously as possible.
The letter specifies that resumption of physical mode of learning in all higher secondary schools across the State is hampered due to Covid Pandemic since March 2020.
The school campuses need sanitation and cleaning. Further, accessories and amenities like functional drinking water, toilets, classrooms, laboratory and equipments need to be brought to the pre-Covid situation.
In view of the above, the principals are requested to take up the matter as expeditiously as possible and inform the status of the above requirements within a week.
District Education Officers have also been requested to supervise and monitor the position and take up the matter on an urgent basis.
