New Delhi: President Ram Nath Kovind began delivering the customary address to the joint sitting of both the Houses of the Parliament today.
The customary address will be followed by proceedings in both Houses.
The first session of the 17th Lok Sabha commenced from Monday. The newly elected members took oath and election of the Speaker was held.
The Rajya Sabha will begin its proceedings from today after the address of the President.
The Lok Sabha will have a total of 30 sittings and the Rajya Sabha 27 sittings till July 26. The Union Budget for 2019- 20 will be presented on July 5.
