Puri Blue Flag Beach Now Divyanga-Friendly

Puri: The famous Blue Flag beach in the pilgrim city of Puri is now disabled-friendly as the Puri administration has ensured necessary facilities, so that the differently-abled persons can easily explore the beauty of the newly-opened beach.

Even though, the wheelchair facility was there at the Blue flag beach, but it lacked dedicated pathway for the movement of wheelchairs.

The Puri administration has constructed a 50-meter pathway for the smooth movement of the wheelchairs for the differently-abled persons.

The pathway was inaugurated in the presence of Puri Collector Samarth Verma, disability rights activist Jitendra Biswal and others.

Meanwhile, the divyanga tourists have expressed their pleasure for the facility at the Blue Flag beach and thanked the district administration.
