The Puri Police is going all out to help out the elderly as the pandemic rages on in the district.
Based on strong public demand and feedback, the police department is launching 24×7 Helpline (6370972100) for senior citizens.
The senior citizens, particularly those who are staying alone with no other adult member in the house, can contact this number in emergency and raise the issues they are facing. The police personnel will reach out to them and provide all possible assistance within the shortest possible time on priority basis, the police said.
Meanwhile, the Puri district administration has stepped up its efforts considering the elderly needed the most care, during such a crisis.
