Rayagada Excise Superintendent Nina Beura Caught With Rs Six Lakh Unaccounted Cash By Odisha Vigilance
Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance officers have caught Rayagada Excise Superintendent Nina Beura while she was proceeding towards Bhubaneswar with unaccounted cash to the tune of Rs six lakhs. She was intercepted by the vigilance sleuths near Bhubaneswar. She could not give any satisfactory account of the cash that she was carrying with her in the car, which is believed to have been collected illegally.
Following her interception, searches are being done at different locations of Beura and her relatives. She is being interrogated regarding the source of the money. The Vigilance is also searching the residence of Beura’s husband who is posted as IIC, Mahanga. As he is missing from Mahanga after getting information regarding the raids by Vigilance, he has been directed to appear at the Vigilance office in Bhubaneswar.
