Bhubaneswar: With the Very Severe Cyclonic Storm Yaas leaving a trail of destruction in the affected areas of Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Jagatsinghpur and Mayurbhanj districts, teams involved in relief and restoration works have swung into action.
While the district authorities were well prepared and made advanced arrangements for minimal inconvenience and loss to property, there have been incidents of road blockage due to uprooting of trees in many places.
The standby teams of ODRAF, NDRF and Fire services and Odisha Police have swung into action and started clearing the obstructions.
