Rourkela: Rourkela Municipal Corporation (RMC) in collaboration with Rourkela Smart City Ltd organized an orientation workshop for civil services aspirants on Wednesday.
The programme ‘Samata 2019’ held at Bhanja Bhawan here brought together top bureaucrats and educationists to guide the students, who came from different education institutions in Sundargarh district.
The speakers including Sundargarh Collector Nikhil Pavan Kalyan, DIG of Police Kavita Jalan and Superintendent of Police K Siva Subramani shared their insights and motivated the students to work hard to get success in career.
The programme was coordinated by Additional District Magistrate, Commissioner, RMC and CEO, Rourkela Smart City Dr. Yeddula Vijay.
Addressing gathering, the RMC Commissioner said that the administration is planning to open an academy for the students belonging to the economically weaker section and help them in preparing for various civil services exams.
