Kolkata: The schools and colleges in West Bengal will remain closed till September 20 in view of the COVID-19 pandemic, said Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
According to reports, the corona tally in West Bengal surged to 1,44,801 including 2,909 deaths.
Mamata Banerjee said she hopes that the number of COVID cases in the state will come down by September.
