Schools In Odisha Reopen After Two Years For Class I To VII

Bhubaneswar: With the Covid-19 situation improving in the state, schools in Odisha have been opened for students of Class I to VII from today. While the schools have opened for physical classes after a gap of two years, the School and Mass Education Department has made all arrangements for sanitisations of the classrooms. Students entering the schools premises are being given sanitisers and masks. As per the decision of the Department, the classes will be held from 9 am in the morning to 1 pm and in the initial week the focus will be on preparing the students for physical classes by various activities and not based on curriculum. The physical classes for 8th to 12 standards have already started from 14th February.
