Bhubaneswar: Senior IPS officer Dhirendra Sambhaji Kutey has been promoted to the rank of Additional Director General (ADG) on Thursday.
Currently, the 1997-batch IPS officer serves as Special Secretary to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
Kutey has been promoted to the ADG rank along with three other senior IPS officers.
The officers are Asheet Kumar Panigrahi, Rekha Lohani and Diptesh Kumar Pattnaik.
A notification has been issued by the Home Department in this regard on Thursday.
