Bhubaneswar: Several parts in south Odisha are likely witness heavy to very heavy rainfall from October 23 to October 25, predicts the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
A cyclonic circulation has formed over southwest Bay of Bengal under which Odisha is likely to receive heavy to very heavy rainfall from October 23 to October 25, informs the IMD.
The districts such as Gajapati, Ganjam, Rayagada, Puri, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Nuapada, Bolangir are likely to receive heavy to heavy rainfall alert on October 23, while Gajapati, Ganjam, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Deogarh, Angul, Keonjhar, Puri, Khurda, Nabarangpur, and Cuttack will record heavy rainfall on October 24.
The met has also warned the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Cuttack, Balasore, Dhenkanal, Jajpur and Nayagarh on October 25.
