Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance has apprehended a Geo Tagger (PMAY-Gramin) in Sundargarh district for taking bribe from a poor PMAY beneficiary.
Nakula Mohanta, Geo Tagger (PMAY-Gramin), Talabahali GP, Lahunipada came under the scanner of the Vigilance sleuths for demanding and accepting bribe of Rs 3000 from a poor PMAY beneficiary for Geo tagging of his PMAY house for release of next installment.
The complaint informed the Vigilance Authority over TOLLFREE NO-1064. Accordingly, Vigilance officials rushed to the spot and nabbed accused Mohanta while taking bribe money.
In this connection, Rourkela Vigilance PS Case U/s 7 A P.C. (Amd) Act, 2018 has been registered. The investigation is underway in the matter.
