Bhubaneswar: Tainted IFS officer Abhay Kant Pathak and his son Akash Pathak, who were in police remand, have been sent to jail on Saturday.
Their remand period ended today.
The Special Investigation Team during the interrogation reportedly extracted several important information from them.
Akash said to have confessed that he never did job in Tata Motors.
Yesterday, the SIT also traced out Rs 1.47 crore kept in the account of Akash. Rs 17.52 crores deposited in the account of Akash has been traced by the SIT so far.
