Sambalpur: The Odisha Vigilance sleuths are today carrying out searches in places connected with Santosh Kumar Darjee, General Manager, Tata Power Western Odisha Distribution Ltd., on the allegation of acquisition of disproportionate assets. Simultaneous house searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance led by one DSP, six Inspectors, two ASIs and other staff on the strength of Search Warrants issued by the Special Judge Vigilance, Sambalpur at three places in Sambalpur and Bargarh district.
The searches are being conducted at the residential building located at Pradhanpara, Sambalpur; Burla Corporate Office, Sambalpur; Native village at Atabira, Bargarh.
During house search, cash over Rs 6.28 lakh has been recovered so far which is expected to increase further with the searches going on.
