Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government on Monday made it mandatory for people to wear a face mask in public places in the capital city of Lucknow and six NCR districts amid the rise in the COVID-19 cases.
The use of masks has been made mandatory in public places in capital city Lucknow and six districts such as Gautam Buddh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Meerut, Bulandshahr and Baghpat, according to reports.
Earlier this month, the UP Government had given relaxation in wearing face mask in view of the improving COVID-19 situation.
