Berhampur: With urban local body elections round the corner, the Ganjam administration has come up with a unique initiative to help the voters to locate their polling booths in Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BeMC) and other ULBs in the district.
The district administration has added a “know your booth location” option in its existing Safa app for the election to BeMC and other ULBs, scheduled to be held on March 24.
Using the Safa app, the voters can easily locate their booths. The app can be downloaded from Google Play Store. The voters can enter their voter ID or EPIC number to find out their respective polling booths. The voters can also get the Google Maps location and travel route through the app.
“Your Polling booth details are just a click away. All voters of BeMC and other ULBs can now know your booth location for upcoming ULB elections in ‘SAFA APP’. Download ‘SAFA APP’ from Google Play store and enter your EPIC No to find your booth location”, Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange informed through a Twitter post. .
