Bhubaneswar: The Winter Session of the Odisha Assembly will commence tomorrow and is scheduled to continue till 31st December 2022 with 33 working days. The Odisha Police has made elaborate security arrangements for the Session.
The total area has been provided three layered security with CCTV surveillance. DGP Sunil Bansal is scheduled to review the security arrangements at the Assembly today. Led by the DCP, about 34 platoons of police force have been engaged in the security of the Assembly. Two additional DCPs will supervise the security arrangements. Keeping in view the protest rallies near the Assembly, the Police has also tightened the security on various roads along the Assembly. Five Additional DCPs, 11 ACPs, 13 IICs, 62 ASIs have been engaged in the security set up. Five Controls rooms have been set up to keep an eye on the movement of crowd. Striking force, quick response teams, Special technical teams, armed police personnel, roof top security, have also been deployed.
