Cuttack: As many as 1019 vehicles in Cuttack have been seized by the Commissionerate Police on Monday for violating the coronavirus lockdown order.
“In spite of repeated requests for our safety, people are not obeying government orders, for which 1019 vehicles seized/detained in CTC UPD for violation subject to criminal proceedings”, tweeted the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Cuttack, Akhileswar Singh.
Singh also appealed to the people not to use vehicle for shopping and cooperate the police in fight against COVID-19.

In Bhubaneswar, around 637 vehicles have been seized by the Police for the same reasons.
