Berhampur: Amid the ongoing lockdown to contain the spread of coronavirus, the Berhampur police are offering all possible supports to the senior citizens staying alone in the city.
As senior citizens are the most vulnerable in this difficult time, the police personnel are going beyond their call of duty to enquire about the wellbeing of the senior citizens and assist them wherever required.
“Our Nodal Officers for Safety of Senior Citizens visited many senior citizens staying alone to enquire about their wellbeing and assured them of our support”, said Berhampur SP Pinak Mishra.
Earlier, Odisha DGP Abhay reviewed the implementation of COVID-19 lockdown in Berhampur police district and expressed his satisfaction over the various arrangements made by the city police.
