India’s Covid Infection Tally Crosses 3 Lakh with Over 11 Thousand Additions in Last 24 Hours; 389 New Deaths Recorded

New Delhi: The number of Covid infections in the country has crossed the three lakh mark today with the addition of over 11 thousand positive cases in the last 24 hours. Maharashtra remains the hot bed of Coronavirus as the number of infections in the state crossed one lakh. It accounts for more than one third of the total cases of the country. India has added one lakh new cases in the last ten days only.

The death toll in the country also increased to 8886 with 389 lives lost in the last 24 hours. With over 1.5 lakh people recovered from the deadly virus, the number of active cases in the country remains at 1 lakh 45 thousand.
