Angul: As many as 4603 women self-help groups (SHGs) have received bank loans worth Rs 108. 33 crore in Angul district.
The Mission Shakti Department with support from Angul district administration and banks has organized Samanwaya Mela, a SHG-Bankers Interface Meet, in different blocks of the district to facilitate loans to the SHGs.
A total of 4603 SHGs were provided with bank loans amounting to Rs 108.33 crore through Samanwaya Melas.
This initiative is very important for the #financial inclusion of women in Angul, the Mission Shakti Department said.
