5T at Ground: Odisha Minister Makes Surprise Visit to Oversee Capacity Building Programmes of R&DM Dept

Bhubaneswar: In line with Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s 5T mantra, Odisha Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Sudam Marndi today made surprise visit to oversee the training and capacity building programmes of the government managed by R&DM department through the Revenue Officers’ Training Institute.

The Minister interacted with OAS and ORS trainees and emphasized on bringing about a ‘Transformation’ in the approach of the officers and offices from that of the integrity of the process to a “humane approach” with special focus on the 4Ts – ‘Team Work’, ‘Technology’, ‘Transparency’ and ‘Time Management’ together making it a “5T based Administration & Service Delivery System”.

He also stressed on physical fitness of officers to enable them manage unforeseen exigencies like natural calamities, law & order situations etc.

Elaborating on the flagship programmes of the government, like Project Basundhara, Land Rights, and new technology interventions like “LRMS & e- Mutation”, “e-Registration” and “Service Plus” platform for issue of Misc. Certificates, the Minister focused on seamless integration of all the Revenue Service Delivery Processes thereby saving time as well as ensuring transparency to give the citizens a feel good experience of governance.
