5T in Action: Odisha Govt Launches e-Commerce Portal

Bhubaneswar: In line with Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s 5T action plan, the Odisha Government on Tuesday launched e-Commerce Portal of the Directorate of Printing, Stationery & Publication.

As a measure of 5-T charter, the Odisha Government Press has taken initiative to transform the present conventional system of sale to online sale by using technology of government diary, calendars and other government publications.

A new e-commerce portal ‘www.ogpress.nic.in’ was launched today for the purpose.

Agriculture Production Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary Pradipta Kumar Mohapatra unveiled the e-Commerce Portal for the benefit of general people.

Government Press generally prints the materials indented by Government Departments however on the occasion of New Year, it prints Government Diaries 50,000 Nos., different varieties of Calendars-4,40,000 Nos. and also other publications etc.

The general public can pay online and get the delivery of the publications anytime and anywhere. This website will make the Government Publications accessible to all the public both in the State and outside the State, an official statement said.

Henceforth, the interested public can avail these publications and take advantage of e-Commerce Portal for online purchase of Diary, Calendars and other Government Publications in time, it added.
