5T Secy Interacts with Sarpanchs in Hinjli Block on COVID-19 Preparedness

Berhampur: Secretary to Chief Minister (5T) VK Pandian today interacted with Sarpanchs in Hinjli block of Ganjam district about the corona pandemic situation.

Pandian, who is on a visit to Ganjam district to review COVID-19 preparedness in the district in view of rising corona cases following the return of migrants, held elaborate discussions with Sarpanches and explained about their leadership role in fighting the coronavirus.

The discussion came on the heels of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik according the Sarpanches as frontline COVID-19 warriors in the State.
During his interaction, Pandian emphasized the need for better management of quarantine centres to contain the spread of the virus.

He also visited the COVID care centre at Hinjlicut SDH to review various facilities available there.
Earlier today, Pandian visited Shergada block to take stock of the corona situation there.
