70,496 New Cases Push India’s COVID-19 Caseload to 69,06,152

New Delhi: With the single day spike of 70,496 new cases and 964 deaths, India’s tally of COVID-19 has crossed 69-lakh mark on Friday.

The total COVID-19 cases in the country stand at 69, 06,152 including 8, 93,592 active cases, 59, 06,070 cured/discharged/migrated cases, according to the Union Health Ministry.

The death toll due to the virus mounted to 1,06,490 in the country.

The overall number of global coronavirus cases reached 36.4 million, while the deaths surged to more than 10,60,860, the Johns Hopkins University said.
