99-Year-Old Karnataka Woman Beats Coronavirus

Bengaluru: A 99-year-old woman in Karnataka has successfully defeated the Coronavirus; a development infused a ray of hope among all who are currently fighting the virus.

According to reports, Marceline Saldanha has recovered from COVID-19 in Bengaluru.

She has become the oldest woman in Karnataka to beat the deadly disease.

Saldanha reportedly got infected by the virus after coming in contact with her grandson and had been hospitalized on her 99th birthday on June 18.

After undergoing treatment for nine days at a government hospital, the woman recovered from the disease and tested negative.

Earlier this month, a 97-year-old man from Agra had recovered from COVID-19.
