Odisha Govt Releases Funds to ULBs to Fight COVID-19

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government has released funds to Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) towards taking preventive measures to contain the spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).

The Housing & Urban Development Department has sanctioned funds to the tune of Rs 21, 10,00,000 (Rupees Twenty-one Core and Ten Lakh) to 114 ULBs to take preventive measures to counter the pandemic coronavirus.

“Consequent upon liberalizing the guideline for release and utilization of grants under ‘UNNATI’ and considering prevailing health situation in the urban areas of State due to Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19, the Government in Housing & Urban Development Department have been pleased to sanction and release of Rs 21, 10,00,000 (Rupees Twenty-one Core and Ten Lakh) only in favour of 114 ULBs to take preventive measures to counter the above pandemic”, a notification issued by department said.
