Odisha CM Speaks to Leaders of Various Political Parties on Singing of ‘Bande Utkal Janani’

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik spoke to leaders of various political parties this evening on singing of ‘Bande Utkal Janani’, the patriotic song of Odisha, on May 30 at 5.30 pm to encourage the COVID-19 warriors in the State.

The CM spoke to Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, PCC President Niranjan Patnaik, State BJP President Sameer Mohanty, Samajbadi Party President Ravi Behera and Alikishore Patnaik of Marxist Communist Party and sought their cooperation in boosting the morale of Corona warriors, a statement said.
Every Odia should sing it to inspire the warriors, the CM added.

Earlier today, the Chief Minister while addressing the people thorough video message said, “The time has come for us to acknowledge and honour all our people who have worked tirelessly to keep us safe”.

“In this context, I request all of you who are connected to the soil of Odisha, wherever you are in the world, to join us and sing Bande Utkal Janani at 5.30 P.M. on May 30th Saturday”.

The objective is to inspire our Covid warriors, to respect their sacrifice and motivate them in their efforts, Naveen said.
