Bengaluru: Karnataka has restricted travel from the five States in the wake of increasing number of COVID-19 cases in those States.
The States are Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
The Karnataka Government has suspended arrival of flights, trains and vehicles from these States to check the spread of Covid-19 pandemic, according to reports.
These five States are among the most-affected in the country with Maharashtra reporting a total of 56948 COVID-19 cases so far, Gujarat 15195, Tamil Nadu 18544, Madhya Pradesh 7261 and Rajasthan 7703.
The COVID-19 tally in Karnataka crossed the 2,500 mark on Thursday.
In India, there are 86,110 active cases, while 67,691 people have recovered and 4531 have died, according to the Health Ministry data.
