Naveen Congratulates Odisha Born IAS Officer GC Murmu on Being Appointed as CAG of India

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has congratulated Odisha born IAS officer Girish Chandra Murmu being appointed as Comptroller and Auditor General of India.

Hours after he resigned as the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, GC Murmu was appointed as the Comptroller and Auditor General of India.

He is the first person from Odisha to hold the position. The President of India Ram Nath Kovind issued the notification of his appointment late on Thursday night.
