New Delhi: India saw another single day biggest spike in the COVID-19 cases as 69,652 persons tested positive for the virus across the country in the last 24 hours.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of coronavirus cases in the country jumped to 28,36,926 including 6,86,395 active cases.
The death toll due to the virus has risen to 53,866 including 977 deaths reported in the last 24 hours.
The number of cured, discharged or migrated stands at 20,96,665.
