Plasma Therapy Successful in Odisha, 104 COVID-19 Patients Cured with Plasma Therapy

Bhubaneswar: Odisha has achieved a milestone with plasma therapy in the fight against Coronavirus as 104 COVID-19 patients recovered from infection with this therapy. 

This has been informed by the Health and Family Welfare Department on Sunday.

“Today, Odisha achieved a rare distinction of having discharged 104 patients after treatment through Plasma Therapy and it is a commendable achievement”, the Department tweeted.

The Health Department has congratulated the entire team involvement in plasma therapy and also the donors who have made it possible.

Odisha has secured a prominent place not only in India but also in the whole world in the successful treatment of Covid patients through plasma therapy, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik said earlier while inaugurating the State’s sixth plasma bank at Koraput through video conferencing.
