Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today greeted the people of Odisha on the occasion of Durga Puja.
Addressing the people through a video message, the Chief Minister said that Odisha has been successful in combating COVID-19 pandemic due to the sacrifice of the people for the last seven months.
He said that the sacrifices made by the people in following the COVID-19 norms have been largely responsible in successfully combating the pandemic.
The COVID-19 cases are decreasing and positivity rate is declining in the State in the last 15 days. However, we cannot be complacent and we have to very cautious till the development of vaccine, the CM said while appealing to the people to follow COVID-19 guidelines during the Dussehra festival.
