Alleged Bhubaneswar Minor Girl Rape Case: OTV MD Jagi Panda Appears Before Child Rights Commission

Bhubaneswar: In a major development, OTV managing director, Jagi Mangat Panda has appeared before the Odisha State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (OSCPCR) through video conference in a case related to alleged gang rape of a minor dalit girl in Bhubaneswar.

Few employees of OTV are said to have allegedly involved in the heinous crime.

Earlier, Commissionarate police had summoned Panda to appear before the commission personally in this case.

The lawyer of the victim is also present during the hearing today.
In another incident related to this case, four persons have been arrested last night (Sunday) by the Crime Branch.

Acording to reports, the Crime Branch has arrested Anirudh Panda, Krushna Chandra Behera, security guard Bijay Rout and a man, who were named in the FIR filed by the victim’s mother.
