Berhampur: An Anganwadi worker in Berhampur has come under the scanner of vigilance department for allegedly possessing assets disproportionate to her known source of income.
The vigilance officials have raided multiple places over the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets by Namita Dalai, the Anganwadi worker of ward No.9 of Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BMC).
Simultaneous searches are being conducted today at her residential house located at Laxmi Nrusingha Nagar, 1st. lane, Berhampur, another house at the same lane, house at Ganesh Nagar 4th.lane, Berhampur, two apartments at BBSR and her relatives house at Dalia street Berhampur on the strength of search warrant issued by Spl. Judge, Vigilance, Berhampur.
The searches were underway till the latest report came in. The calculation of the total valuation of her property is yet to be completed.
