Vigilance Conducts Raids In Ganjam And Angul In Disproportionate Assets Cases

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Vigilance Department sleuths today carried out raids in multiple places in Ganjam on the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets by Kailash Chandra Mohanty, Demonstrator in Zoology Department, Chikiti College, Ganjam. Simultaneous house searches are being conducted by the officers of Vigilance, Berhampur Division at various places including two residential flats at Berhampur, flat at Bhubaneswar, native house at Chikitigarh, relative’s house at Chikitigarh, and office room at Chikiti College on the strength of search warrants issued by the Honble special Judge Vigilance, Berhampur.

In another case, the Vigilance Department officials conducted searches at various places on the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets by Rohitaswa Bagh, Junior Clerk (Cashier), Office of Assistant Engineer, Rural Drinking Water Supply and Sanitation, Angul. Simultaneous house searches are being conducted by the officers of Vigilance, Cuttack Division at his Government Quarter at Angul Jail Road, Double storied building at village Nuasahi, Athamallik, Poultry farm at Tangianisa, Water bottling plant near PWD office, Boudh, Rented house at Athamallik, Native house at village Bargaon, Athamallik, and office room at RWSS Sub- division, Angul.
