Odisha Fully Prepared for Seamless Vaccination Programme, Says Naveen after Covishield Reaches State

Bhubaneswar: Odisha is fully prepared with an elaborate system for seamless vaccination programme to save precious lives, said Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik after Covishield vaccine reached the State on Tuesday.

“It is a moment of great joy that Covishield vaccine has reached Odisha in a special flight”, the Chief Minister tweeted.

Odisha is fully prepared with an elaborate system for seamless vaccination programme to save precious lives, with focus on frontline health workers including Anganwadi workers, he said.

The first consignment containing vials of the vaccine dispatched from Serum Institute of India in Pune reached the Biju Patnaik International Airport here in a special SpiceJet flight.
