Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will review the performance of various departments from May 15.
Patnaik today wrote letter to the Council of Ministers about his decision to review progress of different departments.
The concerned ministers in presence of departmental secretaries will apprise the Chief Minister on the achievements of their department
Besides, , they will also appraise the Chief Minister on how the 5T initiative and ‘Mo Sarkar’ programme were carried out.
The Chief Minister said the common people are the real masters in democratic system. We have to tell the 4.5 crores people of Odisha how far we have succeeded to keep the promises given to the people. This will strengthen the faith of people in democracy, he added.
We should present the progress card before the people, he added.
On May 29, 2019, Patnaik-led government decided in-principle during the first meeting to execute the party’s poll manifesto.
