Bhubaneswar: The by-election to Pipili Assembly seat has been rescheduled to May 16, the Election Commission of India (ECI) announced today.
The by-election, which was scheduled to be held on May 13, will now be held on May 16, Odisha Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Sushil Lohani said.
The By-poll has been rescheduled because Eid al-Fitr may fall on May 13.
The counting of votes will be done on May 19.
