Bhubaneswar: In line with Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s 5T mantra, the Odisha Government has decided to set up call centres in all districts in order to ensure transparency in implementation of rural housing scheme.
The project directors of the District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) have been directed to open the call centres in their respective districts, informed Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Minister Pratap Jena here today.
The State Government will take daily feedback from at least 50 beneficiaries directly through these call centres about the timely disbursement of financial assistance, the minister said while adding that necessary actions will be taken based on the feedback of the people.
The Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water department has taken the initiative in accordance with the 5T mantra of governance that calls for officials and ministers to have a direct contact with the people at the grassroots level to get their feedback about implementation of various government programmes and schemes.
