Bhubaneswar: Bail plea of disgraced IFS officer Abhay Kant Pathak and his son Akash Kumar Pathak was rejected by the Special Vigilance Court here today.
The father-son duo was sent to judicial custody for 14 days at the Jharpada Special Jail in the capital city, according to reports.
Earlier today, the vigilance sleuths arrested the IFS officer and his son for allegedly possessing assets worth crores disproportionate to their known sources of income and produced them before the Special Vigilance Court.
