Andhra Speaker Visits Berhampur Thakurani Mandir, Praises Odisha CM for Development Works

Berhampur: Speaker of Andhra Pradesh Assembly, Tammineni Sitaram paid obeisance to Budhi Thakurani, the presiding deity of Berhampur during his visit to the silk city today and highly appreciated Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for the developmental works in the State.

Talking to the media after offering prayers at the century old shrine, the Speaker said that he can see the pace of development is taking place in Odisha under the leadership of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.

Sitaram, who had visited Berhampur town in the past, said that the town has undergone positive changes in various aspects ever since it got the Corporation status.

Praising the leadership of Naveen Patnaik, the Andhra Speaker said that Odisha has been witnessing rapid developments in all areas under the leadership of the Chief Minister.

The Odisha Government has successfully implemented several developmental works for the betterment of the State, he added.

The Andhra Speaker also visited Maa Bhairavi temple, another famous shrine in Ganjam district before to heading towards Ichapuram.
